AIA Australia has significantly enhanced its application processing with the launch of a new feature called Auto Complete, which enables insurance applications to be processed within 24 hours. Auto Complete is available for cleanskin applications submitted via eApp® Express, AIA Australia’s application and quoting system.

Damien Mu, General Manager – Life Insurance, AIA Australia said: “With Auto Complete, advisers can now submit cleanskin applications to be processed automatically, without any manual intervention. This means new policies are up and running within 24 hours of submission, providing clients with peace of mind much sooner.”

Policies which meet the Auto Complete criteria and which are submitted before 6:00pm AEST Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays), will be in force that same evening.

“For advisers, the speedier turnaround of proposals into policies provides their clients with the reassurance they will be covered quicker, and from a business perspective the new feature contributes to efficiencies within an adviser’s practice and in turn improves advisers’ cash flow,” Mr Mu said.

Technology improvements helping advisers service clients in a fast paced environment
The addition of the Auto Complete feature follows improvements made to eApp Express in late 2012, which enable advisers to access a more flexible and efficient eApp Express via new platforms and browsers including tablets, laptops, notebooks and ultrabooks.

“Technology has dramatically changed expectations for service delivery and financial advice clients and advisers are no exception. AIA Australia is continually looking for opportunities to support advisers in delivering better, faster service to their clients and technology will play a key role in achieving these aims going forward,” Mr Mu concluded.
