In her new role, Kerry will be representing the Bloomberg Indexes business in Australia and New Zealand, and license index-linked funds/swaps, custom index services and index subscriptions to financial institutions and the index user community. Kerry spent over four years with UBS Australia Bond Indices and previously was in equities research. She will be joined by Phon Vilayoune, Bloomberg’s Index Manager, who has relocated from Princeton to Sydney.

In April 2014, Bloomberg Indexes, the independent, global index provider, announced the acquisition of Australia’s leading bond indices from UBS. The renamed “Bloomberg AusBond Indexes” is independently calculated, maintained and licensed by Bloomberg to support transparency in Australia’s fixed income market.
