The report acknowledges that AUD has depreciated sharply against the U.S. dollar and speculates that that the RBA will deliver another policy rate cut in the coming months. It highlights that the RBA’s latest economic forecasts indicate that the economy is expected to struggle for longer and that there will be further disinflationary pressures as a result of the drop in energy prices.
