Mr Benbow will join Shadforth next month from News Corp Australia, where he is currently a General Manager.

Prior to this he held senior leadership roles at Perpetual (focusing on high net worth client segments), Booz and Company and was an officer in the Royal Australian Navy.

IOOF Managing Director, Chris Kelaher said IOOF was delighted to have attracted a candidate of Mr Benbow’s calibre.

Mr Kelaher paid tribute to the strong contribution of previous CEO Nick Bedding who left SFG in late August for a career break, after seven years at the helm of the company and almost a year helping it transition to a member of the IOOF Group.
