Only three weeks to go until the FSC Life Insurance Conference which will be held at the Four Seasons Sydney on 16 March.

Participants will have an opportunity to preview the new Life Insurance Code of Practice and hear how it will lift industry standards and deliver real consumer benefits. A panel of experts will explain how the Code will be implemented through underwriting, claims and complaints processes:Panellists will include: Brett Clark, Managing Director, TAL Life; Vicki Mullen, General Manager Consumer Relations and Market Development, ICA; and Alexandra Kelly, Solicitor, Financial Rights Legal Centre.

Allan Fels, Chair, National Mental Health Commission and Professorial Fellow, University of Melbourne; Deanne Stewart, CEO, Metlife Insurance Ltd and Dr Dielle Felman, Director, Work Life Well will discuss mental health and how life insurance companies can ensure best practice of dealing with applicants and claimants with mental health issues.
