AZ NGA subsidiary, Logiro, has acquired fellow Queesland-based Aspire SRS Pty Ltd (Aspire) only 3 months after joining forces with AZ NGA. Aspire is a Financial Wisdom member firm based in Aspley with offices on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

Aspire has been owned and operated by Glenn and Karen Rice since 2004. Aspire provides advisory services to over 500 clients representing over $110 million of assets under advice. The deal nearly doubles the size of Logiro and completes another significant milestone for the firm.

According to Logiro CEO Chris Shiels “In 2016 we wanted to achieve two key growth objectives. The
first was to partner with a new shareholder who could provide access to capital and know-how, the
second was to complete a large acquisition. We are delighted to have achieved both of these
objectives”.

In August Logiro became the latest financial planning firm to partner with AZ NGA. Paul Barrett, AZ NGA CEO states “It was clear to me that we could help Logiro to grow. We were aware that Logiro wanted to make a large acquisition and were delighted to be able to introduce them to Glenn and to enable the transaction to happen.”

For Aspire the deal enables continuity of service to clients as well as enabling opportunities for staff to continue to achieve success. Chris Shiels says “We have enjoyed the interactions we’ve had with the Aspire team and look forward to working with them. We also look forward to building on the partnership with Financial Wisdom.”

AZ NGA has now completed 17 transactions in 17 months.
