DNR Capital, a leading fund manager, has announced that its Australian Equities High Conviction Fund is now available to financial advisers via Macquarie Wrap and netwealth, two leading investment and super platforms.

The fund offers investors a concentrated exposure to Australian equities, typically 20 to 25 stocks, with a strong bottom-up discipline that focuses on buying quality companies at reasonable prices.

DNR Capital has a long and successful track record managing individual and separately managed accounts. This fund is based on the successful 14-year track record of the DNR Capital Australian Equities High Conviction strategy that was previously only available through DNR Capital’s SMAs (Separately Managed Accounts) and IMAs (Individually Managed Accounts).

The fund, since its inception in June 2015, has returned 10.48%p.a. against the ASX200 Accumulation of 5.97% p.a., representing a 4.51% out-performance of its benchmark at 31 December 2016.

Robert White, DNR Capital Chief Executive Officer said that “the firm is very pleased to see the take-up of the fund by advisers and investors. We launched the fund to provide access to our investment capabilities to a broader group of investors and the inclusion on these platforms and other key platforms certainly achieves that objective”.

Jamie Nicol DNR Capital Chief Investment Officer said “The fund is currently positioned around some key thematics. We have a high exposure to US-exposed companies, are underweight stocks benefiting from lower interest rates, are overexposed to companies that benefit from infrastructure stimulus, and remain invested in quality companies with pricing power.”

The fund has been awarded a “RECOMMENDED” rating by Zenith and is also available on other major platforms.
