“David is highly regarded in the Victorian market and we believe David’s extensive experience in funds management will contribute to our established national distribution team at Janus Henderson.”

Gaden added: “In the last couple of years our Australian business has seen steady growth, resulting in solid net inflows in the retail channel. A key element of this success has been the ability of our Retail Sales Directors to engage with their respective markets effectively.

“In order to achieve a stronger footprint in Australia, we have also expanded the retail distribution team, adding an additional resource in New South Wales. Byron Slessar has been promoted from Business Development Associate to Retail Sales Director for New South Wales and ACT.”
