Don Trapnell

Dunsford Financial Planning, headed up by Mark Dunsford, is the most recent advice business to become a Synchron Authorised Representative.

Based in Victoria, the multi-million business was a part-owner of Now Financial Group, which held its own AFSL, but left the group in order to join Synchron. Dunsford Financial Planning was recently bought by private equity firm AZ Next Generation Advisory Pty Ltd.

“Synchron is very passionate about financial advice, particularly risk-related financial advice and we are therefore very pleased to welcome Mark, who is also a passionate advice advocate, and the Dunsford Financial Planning team, to the Synchron family,” said Synchron Director, Don Trapnell.

The appointment brings the number of authorised representatives working under the Synchron banner to 450 as at 30 November 2017, cementing the licensee’s place as the second largest in Australia by risk new business^[1] and the seventh largest by adviser count^[2].
