AMP is rewarding people who live a healthy lifestyle with a discount on life insurance premiums. Eligible customers can receive a 10 per cent discount for the first five years on new AMP Elevate Life and Total and Permanent Disability stepped premium policies.

This discount can be combined with other offers, including a five per cent multi-policy discount, meaning customers can receive up to 15 per cent off their premiums.

To be eligible for the AMP Elevate Healthy Start discount, customers need to:

• Be aged between 30 and 60 (on next birthday)
• Be a non-smoker
• Have a BMI of between 18.5 and 28
• Have no health-related loadings or exclusions on lump sum cover

AMP Director Insurance Proposition Greg Johnson said advisers are having more health-based conversations with their clients and the health discount will help advisers with these lifestyle and goals-based discussions.
