<h3 class="x_MsoNormal">As of today, leading life insurance specialist, TAL, will be waiving insurance premiums <span lang="EN-US">for those affected by the floods in Queensland and the bushfires in Tasmania.</span></h3>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">For customers located in the flood-affected areas of Queensland or bushfire-affected areas of Tasmania, the waiver will be available to existing TAL customers holding policies directly with TAL or through a financial adviser. TAL will also replace any lost policy documents for eligible customers.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Customers on TAL&#8217;s Insuranceline and Alliance partner products will also be eligible for the assistance package.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Premiums will be waived for payments that are due from 1 February 2019 and eligible customers can apply for the waiver until 31<sup>st</sup> March 2019.  The premium waiver will apply for a period of up to two months.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">TAL Chief Customer &amp; Brand Officer, Alex Homer, said, “We understand that in these challenging circumstances, assistance like this can make a difference to our customers. Supporting the health and wellbeing of our customers is also a priority for us, and so beyond the financial assistance we’re providing, we’ve ensured that TAL’s customer facing teams are supporting customers as well as possible during this difficult time.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">“This assistance package will ensure that our customers and their families can have some relief by maintaining the life insurance cover they need.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">“</span><span lang="EN-US">We encourage our customers to contact TAL or their financial adviser to access the assistance package,” he said.</span></p>

– 7:00pm AEST Monday to Friday.</span></p>
