The ATO are working closely with super funds to enable them to process payments to their members as quickly as possible. The first batch of applications have been sent to funds.

Applications with incomplete fields cannot be submitted and processed. If an applicant does not provide their BSB number, they will not be able to submit their application without correcting the error.

The ATO are aware that a small number of data discrepancies have been reported by the funds and are working with the funds to investigate and resolve these issues. The ATO does not expect this to cause any delay with individuals receiving their money.

The ATO has confirmed that there has been no privacy breaches.
