Former long-time Omniwealth adviser, Andrew Zbik, has commenced his own practice under the Advocate Advisory AFSL.

He is now a Senior Financial Adviser at CreationWealth, based in Sydney.

Andrew’s financial advice business will focus on personal financial advice for established clients as well as building a coaching course for individuals. He believes that people needing advice are often hesitant to start working with an adviser because of concerns about their own abilities.

“A $30 financial self-help book from Dymocks cannot possibly be customised to each person’s needs. Helping people face-to-face create and manage a budget, then allows them to understand what is happening with their investments. This ensures that they are understand and are comfortable with their chosen investment strategy,” said Mr. Zbik.

Andrew thinks that more investors will seek advice if they have confidence in their own abilities to the better utilise the broad base of an adviser’s expertise.

He holds qualifications in:

• Bachelor of Business Administration from Macquarie University
• Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University
• Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from NSW College of Law
• Diploma of Financial Services from Kaplan
• SMSF Specialist Advisor (SSA) Accreditation from the SMSF Association
• Registered Tax (Financial) Adviser with Tax Practitioner Board
• Justice of the Peace in New South Wales

Andrew will be launching a series of personal financial training courses in Sydney in second half of 2020.
