David Johnson, formerly a State Manager at Challenger in Melbourne and with previous roles at BT Financial Group, will be responsible for managing client relationships and sourcing new business opportunities across Mason Stevens’ asset management and platform business.

“David’s experience in strategic planning and implementation within large financial services providers brings to Mason Stevens a blueprint for the direction in which we are quickly heading, with ever increasing demand”, said Managing Director, Nick Mitchell.

Johnson will be based in the Melbourne office which opened in 2019 to increase Mason Stevens’ distribution footprint.

This key hire comes off the back of Mason Stevens making great strides forward and emerging as the most improved platform overall in the latest Investment Trends 2020 Platform Competitive Analysis and Benchmarking Report, which was released in March 2021.
