Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) one of the world’s largest asset managers with almost $1.4 trillion (approx. A$1.9 trillion) in AUM, is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Tighe as Director of Institutional Sales.

In his role, Edward will manage institutional sales activities for Natixis IM and affiliates in Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Sydney, he will focus on developing new and existing business opportunities and strategies for clients across multiple asset classes such as real assets, liquid and illiquid alternatives, equities, and fixed income. Edward will report to Louise Watson, Country Head for Natixis Investment Managers, Australia & New Zealand.

Commenting on his appointment, Edward Tighe said: “Coming to Natixis IM, I look forward to bringing my experience working with various institutional clients from superannuation funds to foundations and family offices. Edward joins Natixis IM from First Sentier Investors (formerly Colonial First State Global Asset Management) where he was Director for Institutional Business, working with various institutional clients across Australia to drive business development opportunities in the institutional market.

ESG remains at the heart of the strategic ambitions of Natixis IM, which has set a target to have €600 billion (approx. A$966 billion) of its AUM by 2024.
