Toby Coleman

AXA IM Alts, a global leader in alternative investments with c. A$ 279 billion (c. €188 billion) of assets under management^[1], announces the appointment of Toby Coleman to the role of Head of Client Group Australia at AXA IM Alts, reflecting the business’ growth ambitions in the market.

With more than two decades of experience in business development and fundraising, Toby, who is based in Sydney, is taking responsibility for raising new capital and for client relationships across Australia and New Zealand. He reports directly to Florence Dard, Global Head of Client Group Alts.

Toby has previously held a number of senior strategic distribution roles including at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Perpetual Investments, BNP Paribas Asset Management and most recently Folklore Ventures where he served as Head of Investor Relations.

Toby holds a Master of Arts (Hons) in Geography, Economics and Statistics from the University of St Andrews (United Kingdom) and Diploma in Financial Strategy with Distinction from Oxford University Saïd Business School. Additionally, Toby holds the Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK and is both a Certified Investment Management Analyst (Investment Management Consultants Association) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA Association).
