T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Ramscar as ESG Investment Specialist for the APAC region.

With over 20 years of experience in financial markets, Caroline will play a key role in representing T. Rowe Price’s Responsible Investment and Corporate Governance teams with clients, prospects, and consultants in the region.

Based in Sydney, Caroline will engage with clients across the APAC region on ESG considerations and work in partnership with clients as they adopt more responsible investing strategies. She will also support the firm’s Impact suite of products, which includes investment strategies across equities and fixed income that seek to deliver positive societal and environmental impact alongside financial returns.

“Caroline’s extensive experience in sustainability and responsible investing will be invaluable to our firm and to our clients as we collaborate to drive the adoption of more responsible investment solutions,” said Nick Beecroft, Sydney-based APAC Head of the Investment Specialist Group at T. Rowe Price, who Caroline reports to.

Before joining T. Rowe Price, Caroline spent 10 years at Legal & General Investment Management in London, including the past 5 years as Head of Sustainability Solutions. In that role, she was responsible for engaging with clients on sustainability considerations and was a client expert on responsible investing. Caroline also sat on several internal and external ESG committees and industry working groups. Prior to that, she had worked at several global financial firms during her long tenure in the industry.

Caroline relocated to Sydney from London earlier this year and assumed her new role on July 18. Her appointment underscores T. Rowe Price’s commitment to expanding its ESG capabilities and providing innovative solutions to its clients in the APAC region.
