Count has announced that Tribel Advisory (Tribel) has joined its AFSL network. With 11 financial advisers, Tribel becomes the largest firm licensed with Count in terms of Authorised Representative numbers and one of the first to join from Affinia following Count’s acquisition in May 2023.

Tribel has been building financial wellness for its clients since 2015. Their client-centric offer is centred around demystifying the complexities of financial planning and empowering clients to achieve holistic financial well-being. Tribel CEO Jayson Walker strongly believes in developing a financial advice business that guides clients over the course of their financial journey.

“Our holistic view aims to plug the gap of what we do for clients outside the traditional services like insurance, investment and superannuation advice, and instead consider how we help clients consume solutions throughout their life and do our part to provide these solutions in a trusted way.”

Supporting those in need in the community Tribel’s prioritisation of well-being extends beyond their own clients and into the wider community. The firm currently does pro bono advisory work for the Cancer Council, supplying financial advice to individuals affected by cancer each month.

Tribel has also been a long-term supporter of OzHarvest, donating over $10,000 to support the organisation’s efforts to combat food insecurity in Australia.

“Struggling to put food on the table shouldn’t be a reality in Australia, but it is for so many people. We’re committed to doing our part in helping tackle this problem”, Walker added.

Joining Count a ‘natural course of action’ For Walker and the Tribel team, the decision to join Count was seen as a natural move, with their business model strongly aligned with Count’s commitment to being Australia’s leading provider of integrated wealth and accounting services.

“Count is a business that supports advisers and accountants who are ultimately aiming to become professional integrated wealth and accounting firms. If that’s the vision and direction in which Count is heading, why wouldn’t we want to align and partner with a group that is going to deliver support to groups like us?”

Walker also said that Count was responsive and took on feedback to help improve the onboarding experience.

“In response to the insights and suggestions we provided, Count modified their approach and created a better experience for Tribel. We are excited and optimistic about commencing this new chapter.”

Count Chief Advice Officer, Andrew Kennedy, said that Tribel’s appointment was terrific news that would create cultural benefits for the entire Count network.

“Tribel is a highly successful business that will act as a role model for others in our network. Their professionalism, community focus and unwavering commitment to clients encompasses everything we stand for as a business.”
