Wealth management publications and events firm The Inside Network is pleased to announce it has partnered with Future Proof as the inaugural Australian partner for the growing US-based wealth management event.

With a shared commitment to continuous learning, innovation and professional development, this collaboration will see 50 financial advisers and their staff travel to California to hear from local advisers, entrepreneurs and some of the greatest minds in financial advice.

Set aside sunny Huntington Beach, Future Proof Festival is set to convene over 5,000 wealth experts, visionaries and innovators. This gathering serves as a beacon for the industry, a platform where knowledge is expanded, networks are forged and the path towards a future-proof wealth industry is charted.

The Inside Network will be front and centre as the 2024 Australian partner, hosting a dedicated Lounge for Australian financial advisers and their staff. The Australian Lounge will serve as a nexus for networking, knowledge exchange and content creation; in partnership with RASK Media, this lounge will host local advisers, tech entrepreneurs, and global thought leaders, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of collaboration and innovation.

According to Jamie Nemtsas, director of leading advice group Wattle Partners and executive chair at The Inside Network, the partnership is a significant milestone for financial advice in Australia and presents the opportunity to forge deep ties with the US, which houses the largest adviser base in the world.

“We believe that through continuous learning, knowledge expansion and networking in entrepreneurial ways, The Inside Network can contribute to taking financial advice from its cottage industry roots to a beacon of professionalism,” Nemtsas says.

Nemtsas says the collaboration also provides a valuable opportunity for fund managers to connect with advisers and forge lasting relationship ties.

“We see fund managers and their investment teams as an integral part of this journey,” he says. “By bringing the providers and allocators of wealth together on the same journey, we’re hoping to foster trusting relationships that help everyone deliver great outcomes for clients.”

Future Proof will be held over four days from September 15 to 18 and will take place as a 100 per cent outdoor event on an expansive boardwalk astride one of the world’s most iconic beach strips. Over 2,200 financial advisers and wealth management executives will attend, representing an estimated US$6 trillion in total AUM.
