Adelaide McDonald

Future Generation Global (ASX: FGG) has announced the appointment of Adelaide McDonald to the Board of Directors.

Jennifer Westacott AO, Chair of Future Generation Global, said: “Adelaide’s business acumen and her experience of listed investment companies will be an asset to our Board, as we continue to navigate changing markets and focus on long term shareholder value whilst continuing to make a positive contribution to society.”

Ms McDonald said: “I am excited to become a Director of Future Generation Global, at such a pivotal time, in both markets and our communities.

“Growing up in regional Queensland, I have always understood the inequity of opportunity and support available to young people throughout Australia as well as the importance of giving back to communities. Ms McDonald is currently Chair of Beef Australia and a non-executive director of Highcom Limited, formerly known as XTEK Limited, VGI Partners Global Investments Limited and Regal Asian Investments Limited. Previous experience includes serving as a Director in KPMG’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice, as well as roles at Wilson HTM and BDO. Ms McDonald holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Business Economics, from the University of Queensland and has completed the CFA Program and been awarded the CFA Charter.
