Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex Group” or “The Group”), a global financial services provider has announced its appointment by Capital Prudential Manager Pty Ltd (“Capital Prudential”) to support the Capital Prudential Real Estate Master Trust.

Capital Prudential is a leading non-bank financial institution, offering attractive returns from pooled investment in diversified property developments delivered entirely as regular predictable income streams. Apex Group has been appointed to provide Fund Administration, Loan Administration and Compliance Services, to supplement Capital Prudential’s centralised risk management, treasury and settlements function to ensure that investors benefit from best-in-class risk management.

Fund administration is at the core of Apex’s single-source solution, delivering timely, accurate and independent services, underpinned by market leading technology platforms. According to a recent Total Economic Impact (TEI) report by Forrester Consulting, clients of Apex Group’s single-source solution achieve, on average, cost benefits of $5.39m, with a net present value of $2.75m over a three-year period. Apex Group’s Loan Administration offering is seamlessly integrated with Fund Administration services and technology platforms, to deliver cohesive end-to-end solution.

Alongside fund and loan administration support, Apex Group will also deliver tech-enabled compliance solutions to meet their operational and regulatory obligations. Apex Group’s Global Compliance Solutions team, which has recently expanded in Singapore, works closely with the Group’s Corporate Solutions experts to combine regulatory compliance with back office, bookkeeping and entity formation services, ensuring a seamless solution for clients, from licensing to full launch and ongoing support to businesses.

This appointment follows Apex Group’s continued growth in Australia and New Zealand, including the strategic acquisitions of Mainstream Group and MMC, and new client wins including Foord Asset Management, Octopus Investments Australia, Perennial Partners and New Forests.

Andrea Gallenca, Head of Private Market Sales, Australia at Apex Group comments: “We are excited to be working with Capital Prudential through the provision of locally delivered fund and loan administration as well as compliance services. Our integrated solutions will enable Capital Prudential’s experienced team to focus their attention on generating stable fixed income returns from diversified property development portfolios whilst maintaining a deep focus on capital preservation and risk management.”

Sam Moore, Managing Director, Capital Prudential Funds Management further adds: “We appointed Apex Group as their agile, global single-source solution delivers efficiency, tailored to our fund and loan administration, as well as compliance needs, through one convenient relationship. We look forward to working together deliver the highest levels of governance and operational efficiency, for the benefit of our investors.”

Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex” or “The Group”), a global financial services provider, today announces its appointment by Octopus Investments Australia (“Octopus Australia”) to provide services to its fund structures focused on renewables investment.

Octopus Group is one of the largest owners of renewable energy projects in Australia and Europe, owning some 260 assets on behalf of wholesale and institutional investors. Octopus Australia is responsible for managing over AUD$1 billion of construction and operational assets.

Octopus Australia is building a portfolio of renewable energy assets that will help Australia lower its carbon emissions and meet its renewable energy targets while delivering sustainable, long-term returns for investors.

Since launch, Octopus Australia has already seen sizable growth of their team, portfolio and the launch of innovative partnerships. Within the Octopus portfolio is Australia’s largest solar plant, the 333MW facility in Darlington Point, NSW – enough to power 115,000 homes and Octopus recently partnered with the $10bn Clean Energy Finance Corp, to invest in renewables in Gippsland.

Apex will provide Octopus Australia with Fund Administration, Investor Onboarding, Share Registry and Tax Services for new fund structures dedicated to investing in renewable energy in Australia. These fund administration services sit at the core of Apex’s single source offering and are underpinned by the industry’s leading technology platforms.

This announcement follows a series of high profile strategic acquisitions for Apex in Australia and New Zealand, including Mainstream Group, MMC and IFAA, and strong organic growth momentum including appointments by Australian growth investor Perennial Partners and nature-based real assets investment manager New Forests.

Andrea Gallenca, Head of Private Market Sales – Australia at Apex Group comments: “As a carbon neutral business that has offset a lifetime of carbon emissions, Apex is the perfect fit to be supporting Octopus Australia as they invest in renewables. Our robust and scalable technologies and fund administration services will allow the Octopus Australia team to focus on facilitating the deployment of capital towards projects which benefit not only their investors, but our planet, now and in the future.”

Campbell Ross, Head of Finance and Operations -Octopus Australia further adds: “We believe there is a huge opportunity to unlock investment in renewables by building a bespoke portfolio of renewables assets to create better outcomes for our investors. Apex has demonstrated exceptional quality of service, underpinned by flexible and adaptable technology systems and platforms, which crucially, can meet our fund administration needs as they evolve as we continue to grow our portfolio. We look forward to working closely with the knowledgeable Apex team in Australia.”
