This follows the transition of outgoing Fund Manager, Brett Williams to Managing Director, Retail within the Real Estate business, where he is responsible for AMP Capital’s retail real estate platform including the wholesale pooled funds of ADPF and the AMP Capital Shopping Centre Fund (ASCF) and overseeing the investment, leasing, property and development management functions of AMP Capital’s $12 billion of retail assets under management.

Tom Green brings with him over 10 years’ experience within the real estate industry across asset management, funds management and transactions. Mr Green has been with AMP Capital since 2017, initially joining as Assistant Fund Manager for AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund (AWOF) and more recently as Assistant Fund Manager of ADPF. Before this he held roles at Colliers International and Lendlease.

Andrew Jeffs joins AMP Capital from Lendlease where he held several operational and fund management roles since 2011.  Most recently Head of Retail Operations, Investment Management, Mr Jeffs was responsible for delivering the strategic, operational and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.  Prior to this, he held roles of General Manager Business Operations, and Business Transformation Manager as well as providing strategy and analysis for the Australian Prime Property Fund – Retail, after having started his career in valuation at Colliers International.

Mark Kirkland has accepted the new role of Head of Retail Development and Asset Creation.  This newly created role will have expanded responsibilities beyond master planning and delivery of projects to also focus on coordinating AMP Capital Real Estate’s mixed-use asset creation capability as well as the origination of development investment opportunities for our clients.  Currently Head of Retail, Mr Kirkland has been with AMP Capital for seven years, with more than 30 years of experience in real estate including development, operations and construction.

Strengthening the accountability of our asset and investment management teams, Marco Ettorre will be joining AMP Capital to take on the role of Head of Retail and Investments.  In this role, Mr Ettorre will be accountable for driving performance, innovation and cultural change through our integrated retail platform and leading the property management, leasing and investment management teams.  Currently the Acting Head of Retail at Lendlease, Mr Ettore has spent over 20 years in a number of senior roles, across all aspects of retail management including fund management, leasing, development, asset and investment management.

Also reporting to Brett Williams on the Retail Leadership Team are Conrad Sinclair, AMP Capital Shopping Centre Fund Manager (ASCF) and AMP Capital Diversified Property Assistant Fund Manager Tom Green.

The new roles are effective January 2020, with Mr Kirkland continuing to lead the retail business until then, at which time both he and Mr Ettore will report directly to Brett Williams.
