Mark Rantall, CEO of the FPA, said the Congress theme was particularly pertinent as the financial planning profession sets its sights on the future after much debate and legislative changes. He said planners are ready to move forward and are seeking support as they implement new strategies for their business.

Mr Rantall welcomed keynote speaker Mr Riddell, who in keeping with the theme, will speak about emerging trends and behaviours for businesses in Australia with topics to include new technologies, customer experience, predictive analytics, online presence and inspiring people to think differently.

“The FPA is delighted to have a speaker who will bring to the table exciting new ideas that align with our forward-looking theme. Digital disruption and new technology are big topics currently and Chris will share his knowledge and assist planners navigate the new landscape.”

The Congress program will offer CPD hours across a broad range of keynote sessions and workshops covering technical topics, best practice solutions, leadership and personal development skills.
According to the FPA, demand for Congress sponsorships is tracking at 150% ahead of this time last year, while early bird registrations are also selling fast ahead of their close date on 31 August.
Mr Rantall said the early interest in the Professionals Congress was encouraging, noting that the success of last year’s event was a clear driver.

“We had almost 1,000 delegates attend last year’s Congress in Adelaide, with a high number of those practitioners. We expect registrations to fill up fast again and are prepared for even higher numbers this year,” he said.<
