                                    <description><![CDATA[<h3>Leading financial services provider HUB24 Group (ASX: HUB) yesterday announced the appointment of Marc Hraiki as their new State Manager for New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).</h3>
<p>Current State Manager Andrew Fraser moves into a newly created role of National Manager for Strategic Sales, reporting to Shane Muscat.</p>
<p>Mr Hraiki has almost 20 years’ experience in financial services in senior leadership roles managing state and national sales teams, most recently at IOOF where he held the role of National Manager of Advice Relationships. Mr Hraiki has also held roles at DKN Financial and the Australian Stock Exchange, focusing on adviser recruitment and education; and Rubik Group, where he held the role of Sales Director.</p>
<p>Commenting on the new appointments, HUB24’s Head of Retail Distribution, Greg Newman, said: “We are pleased to welcome Marc Hraiki to our company, and we look forward to leveraging his extensive experience leading state and national sales teams across platforms, asset management and advice.</p>
<p>“Given the strong pipeline we have in the institutional space we are pleased to have Andrew Fraser move across into this newly created role where he can leverage his many years of experience in the platforms space to build new relationships in this segment,” he added.</p>
<p>The appointments of Mr Hraiki and Mr Fraser follow the also recently announced appointment of Mark Goodrick as HUB24’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr Goodrick will commence in his role in December this year.</p>

<p>HUB24 continues to outperform as the fastest growing platform provider in the market, with overall market share now reaching 1%, and has achieved inflows over 18 times current market share which is the highest growth in the industry.</p>

<p>Shane Muscat, formerly Head of Institutional Sales at Colonial First State (CFS), has been appointed to the newly-created role of Head of Strategic Sales and will lead new business initiatives with licensees, boutiques and new corporate partners.</p>
<p>Paula Day, former Head of Strategic Accounts also at CFS, has been appointed to the newly-created role of Head of Key Accounts at HUB24, to manage and build strategic relationships with HUB24’s large licensee clients.</p>
<p>Mr Muscat brings extensive experience in the platform industry. He started his career in the 90s with Macquarie Wrap, moving to senior roles with Avanteos and later with CFS, where he was National Manager of FirstWrap, Strategic Accounts Manager and Head of Institutional Sales.</p>
<p>Ms Day has a strong background in sales and strategic relationships management, having worked for various firms in investment management and financial services, including Westpac, BNP Paribas Asset Management, ING Australia, Barclays Global Investors, BlackRock and CFS.</p>
<p>The new hires will join Greg Newman, who has been Acting Head of Distribution at HUB24 since mid-2017. Greg will now be permanently appointed to the role of Head of Retail Distribution managing current and new adviser relationships.  Greg has over 18 years platform and asset management experience having held a variety of roles including founding executive of Avanteos, and State Manager for BT Advice.</p>
