The appointment of Andrew O’Riordan as Operations Manager is confirmation of its growth as more accountants seek to capitalise on the opportunity to broaden their service offering with a branded financial planning solution.

Créscere Partners is an innovative AFSL that partners with accountants to provide planning advice to their clients on both a profit share and capital participation basis, rather than a client ownership basis. Many accountants have seen their clients disappointed/disaffected when the advice piece has been passed to an external planning group that does not share their values and professional outlook.

CEO James Malcolm is delighted with the inclusion of Andrew in the senior management team.

“Créscere now has a dozen joint ventures running with accounting groups and we needed a seasoned head of operations to steer that growth. The failure of limited advice for many accountants and a desire to stay fully involved with clients, has meant that joint venture models like ours are appealing.

“Andrew’s role is to support our growth and is essential as each discovery seminar brings more joint venture meetings. I think our team appeals because nearly all our managers have been practising accountants. David Smith is our Chairman and he draws crowds at our seminars to hear about the future direction of providing professional services to individuals and SMEs,” said James Malcolm, CEO, Créscere Partners.

Andrew’s background is perfect as Operations Manager given his 15+ years of senior management roles in the industry.

Earlier, he was Head of Operations – Financial Planning at Mortgage Choice for three years and had built the business threefold in that time.

Prior to that Andrew had been Head of Dealer Group Services amongst other positions at ClearView Wealth Limited and was Financial Planning Business Support Manager at Bridges/IOOF.
