PAN-Tribal has announced the appointment of Stuart James to its distribution team as Sydney-based Key Account Manager for New South Wales.

Commenting on the appointment, PAN-Tribal Asset Management CEO Colin Woods said, “This appointment is in response to the strong support from the Australian financial advisory community for PAN-Tribal’s range of strategies.”

With 23 years’ tenure at Aberdeen Standard Investments and experience with other fund managers, Stuart offers integrated insights and a wealth of knowledge across all facets of investment strategy.

“Stuart’s proven track record as an investment specialist and strong familiarity with emerging markets make him a powerful asset to both PAN-Tribal and our clients”, said Woods.

With PAN-Tribal’s ongoing expansion and its mission of unifying excellence in asset management, Stuart’s addition will further complement the existing distribution team consisting of Key Account Managers Nick Baring (VIC/TAS), Jordan Thurlow (NSW/WA), Mark Aufderheide (NSW/SA), and Matthew Mantle (QLD).

PAN-Tribal’s product suite currently includes the Ashmore Emerging Markets Equity Fund, ATLAS Infrastructure Global Fund, Barwon Global Listed Private Equity Fund AF, Jennison Global Equity Opportunities Fund, Nuveen Churchill Private Credit Income Fund, and     PAN-Tribal Global Equity Fund. A seventh strategy is set to be announced in the coming months.

Pan-Tribal Asset Management is pleased to announce the further expansion of its team with the appointment of Mark Aufderheide to the role of Key Account Manager – NSW. This is the second Sydney-based appointment in the past two months.

Mark will join David Myers (VIC), Matthew Mantle (QLD) and Ken Jiang (NSW) in leading the distribution effort of the Pan-Tribal Global Equity Fund. The Fund, which was launched in November 2014, is managed by New York-based Davis Advisors.

“It pleases me that a professional of Mark’s calibre is keen to join a relatively new business,” said Pan-Tribal CEO Colin Woods.

“Mark’s extensive experience with financial advisers and dealer groups, working with them to maximise revenue and profit, will be an asset to both Pan-Tribal and our clients.”

Mark’s appointment comes during an exciting growth phase, with the Pan-Tribal Global Equity Fund already available via seven key platforms; AMP North, Asgard, BT Wrap, First Wrap, Hub24, Macquarie Wrap, and netwealth.

Mark has more than 25 years’ industry experience, having held senior distribution roles at BT Financial Group, Asgard and Sealcorp. Mark holds the CFP designation and has also completed a Diploma in Financial Markets and Diploma in Marketing.

Pan-Tribal Asset Management is pleased to announce the expansion of its Key Account Team with the appointment of Ken Jiang to the role of Key Account Manager – NSW. This is one of two key Sydney-based appointments, the second of which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Ken will join David Myers (VIC) and Matthew Mantle (QLD) in leading the distribution effort of the Pan-Tribal Global Equity Fund. The Fund, which was launched in November 2014, is managed by New York-based Davis Advisors.

Ken has five years’ industry experience, primarily as an analyst. His previous experience includes Senior Analyst with the NSW Government Property division, Investment Analyst with the Managed Funds Research Team at BT Financial Group and Analyst with Centric Wealth.

Ken has completed Level 1 CFA, holds an MBA (Distinction – Professional Accounting), as well as a double degree, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science (Finance, Marketing and Psychology).

David Myers and Matthew Mantle have been appointed Key Account Managers in Victoria and Queensland respectively.

David Myers joins Pan-Tribal Asset Management (Pan-Tribal) from Equity Trustees, where he was the National Head of Distribution. He has 22 years’ experience in the financial services industry, and has worked for several of Australia’s largest financial services companies, including AXA and AMP.

“David has a strong understanding of the financial planning  industry; his knowledge of investments, superannuation, SMSFs and financial planning, coupled with his strong client focus, make him an ideal addition to the Pan-Tribal team,” said Woods.

Matthew Mantle joins the Pan-Tribal team having spent the past 14 years in the financial services industry, most recently as an Investment Specialist within the Business Development Team at Colonial First State.

“Matthews’ passion, knowledge of investments and portfolio construction have resulted in him being widely acknowledge by his clients as someone who ‘truly adds value’,” said Woods.

As Key Account Managers, David and Matthew will be responsible creating awareness and generating support for the recently launched Pan-Tribal Global Equity Fund, by interacting with a range of industry stakeholders. These include researchers, financial advisers, dealer groups and platforms. The Pan-Tribal Global Equity Fund was launched in November 2014 and is managed by Davis Advisors in New York.
