LGT Wealth Management Australia (LGTWM) has expanded its Sydney private client advisory team with the appointment of five senior investment advisers.

Michael Marr, Sean Carroll, Seamus Quick, Stephen Cabot and Patrick Armitage join from UBS Wealth Management (UBS), each bringing more than two decades of experience across private banking and wealth management. Collectively, the five appointments add significant senior capability in Sydney and deepen LGTWM’s expertise in advising high- and ultra-high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs and philanthropic organisations on complex investment and intergenerational wealth needs.

The expansion reflects LGTWM’s continued investment in its private wealth proposition. The LGTWM offering combines the global capabilities of LGT Group and the long-term perspective that comes from its private ownership by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein, the strength of one of Australia’s largest in-house investment and advisory teams, and deep expertise in private markets and sustainable investing – all brought together in a bespoke, team-based model built for sophisticated families and organisations.

Michael Chisholm, Chief Executive Officer of LGTWM, said: “At a time when families are navigating increasingly complex investment decisions and significant intergenerational wealth transitions, we are deliberately building the depth, continuity and collective expertise required to support them over the long term.

“A move of this significance is carefully considered. The decision by five senior advisers to join LGTWM is a strong endorsement of the platform we have built and its appeal in a market where experienced advisers have considerable choice.

“Private ownership is not simply a point of difference for LGT; what matters is what it enables. Our ownership by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein allows us to take a genuinely long-term view and invest consistently in our people, investment capabilities and client relationships,” Chisholm continued.

“This long-term foundation is complemented by a strong local investment team and deep expertise across private markets and sustainable investing. Together, these capabilities give our advisers the breadth of support required to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of Australian families and organisations.

“The addition of Michael, Sean, Seamus, Stephen and Patrick represents an important step in the continued development of our Australian private wealth business, and we look forward to the contribution they will make to our business and the clients we serve,” Chisholm concluded.
