Sam’s appointment builds on the capability of the team which is headed by Charlie Lanchester.

Sam has more than 12 years’ experience as an equities analyst and joins BlackRock having been Head of Gaming and Engineering & Contractors Research at UBS. Sam also has considerable experience as an analyst in emerging companies and media.

Commenting on his appointment, Justin Arter, Country Head of BlackRock Australia said “Charlie and Madeleine Beaumont have already made significant progress towards the launch of our new fundamental equities fund and Sam will be a great complement to them.”
