Nathan joins MetLife from the Finance Sector Union, where he has been Assistant National Secretary for almost four years. He brings more than 25 years of experience in politics, including as former Premier of NSW (2008- 2009), and has worked at both the Commonwealth and State (NSW) levels, as policy adviser and Minister.

His new role at MetLife will include responsibility for working with Government and Regulators to help MetLife, and its business partners, in reviewing proposed legislative change for the life insurance industry in Australia.
