Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited (Zurich) announced yesterday the appointment of Ms Khanh-vy (“KV”) Ho to the role of Regional Sales Manager Life Risk, Victoria. In this role Ms Ho will be responsible for the delivery of Zurich’s risk proposition to key distribution partners in Victoria and Tasmania.

Ms Ho joined Zurich’s Life & Investments business in 2013 in the role of Business Development Manager, bringing with her more than ten years experience in adviser relationship management and deep specialist knowledge in  Business Insurance and Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).

Ms Kristine Wade, Head of Retail Sales for Zurich’s Life and Investments business, said “KV has already proven to be a valuable addition to the Zurich team. Her extensive experience and her passion for working with advisers make her a perfect fit for this role. The fact that we were able to promote from within also demonstrates the depth of the talent we have here at Zurich.”

Ms Ho replaces Andy Marshall, who was promoted to the national role of Head of Sales Strategies and Research, Life Risk earlier this year.

Andy Marshall

Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited (Zurich) announced today that Mr Andy Marshall has been appointed to the national role of Head of Sales Strategies and Research, Life Risk.

In this role Mr Marshall will be responsible for developing, promoting and delivering Zurich’s life insurance proposition in conjunction with distribution partners and research houses.

Mr Marshall previously held the role of Regional Manager, Life Risk for Zurich in Victoria and has more than 20 years financial services experience across a range of roles, including sales management, staff development and underwriting plus seven years as a financial planner.

Mr Philip Kewin, General Manager – Retail, Life & Investments, said “Andy’s extensive background in sales coaching, strategic marketing and presenting, combined with his deep technical knowledge and extensive social media presence make him a perfect fit for this pivotal role”.

“Andy is passionate about working with advisers and comes to the role fresh from overseeing record sales growth for Zurich in Victoria and Tasmania; the fact that we are able to promote internally to such a senior position speaks volumes about the depth of our team.”

Mr Marshall replaces Marc Fabris, who was promoted to the global role of Head of New Distribution for Zurich late last year.
