Leadership team expands with three new appointments
CMC Markets has appointed Louis Cooper as Head of CMC Markets Australia and New Zealand. Mr Cooper has over 10 years’ experience in wholesale and retail derivative markets in the UK and Australia.
In his time with CMC Markets, Mr Cooper was part of the founding team who established CMC Markets in the United Kingdom. Mr Cooper was integral in bringing the CMC Markets brand and product suite over to Australia and New Zealand, developing the local business from the ground up and expanding into the Asian region.
Mr Cooper has cultivated the wholesale partners division, optimised the sales and service model, and developed a fully integrated education focus into every client interaction.
More recently, as the Head of Distribution at CMC Markets, Mr Cooper oversaw the marketing, branding and retention strategies for the Australia and New Zealand business.

Additional new appointments within CMC Markets Australia and New Zealand include Oliver Scott appointed as Chief Operating Officer and Nikos Enginertan appointed as Head of Retail Distribution.
Former Head of CMC Markets Australia and New Zealand, Barry Odes, resigned from his position citing his intentions to expand his career locally in the broader financial services industry.
