Perth based financial planning firm Lighthouse Capital was last week named Godfrey Pembroke Limited Practice of the Year for 2011.
This national award recognises the commitment of the business principals and staff to continually develop and grow a high quality financial advice business.
Tom Reddacliff, General Manager Godfrey Pembroke Limited, said, “This award reflects Lighthouse Capital’s ability to provide quality advice that puts the client first while embracing Godfrey Pembrokes values of transparent fee based services”.
“Lighthouse Capital have contributed a great amount to the network and are staunch advocates of the drive towards professionalism in the financial planning industry. They have also invested a huge amount of time and resources into their advice offer so their clients and referral partners have access to a firm at the leading edge nationally.”
Lighthouse Capital Principal Consultant Bernard Schortinghuis said “This is an incredibly satisfying award to receive. We have put considerable work into establishing a premium advice business that puts our clients interests before all else. This is particularly important given the current economic uncertainties we all face as investors. Our focus remains strongly on generating solid income whilst protecting client assets at this time.”
“I would also like to acknowledge the contribution from our team in receiving this award. Their tireless commitment to client service and improvements in the operational standards of this business is a credit to them and we are fortunate to have their support.”
Lighthouse Capital is a practice of Godfrey Pembroke Financial Specialists, which forged a name for itself in the financial planning industry as leading the change to fee for advice.
In 2006, Godfrey Pembroke announced that it would move to a fee for advice model for all new investment clients, long before the subsequent Parliamentary inquiry and Government reviews recommended the industry follow Godfrey Pembroke’s lead.
