Listed financial services company Equity Trustees Limited (EQT) has appointed Ron Grima as QLD key account manager.
In the role, Mr Grima will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with Queensland-based advisers and licensees. He will report to David Myers, national sales manager – EQT funds distribution.
Mr Grima has 24 years’ financial services experience. Prior to joining EQT, he was national account manager with AXA, and he has also worked with Invesco Australia as state manager, and Perpetual as senior account executive, as well as holding business development roles at Lend Lease and Royal & Sun Alliance.
Mr Grima has a bachelor of business from Queensland University of Technology.
Mr Myers said: “Queensland is a crucial market for EQT, and we believe that Ron’s considerable local experience as both an adviser and a key account manager will be invaluable in helping us to continue to grow the presence of our fund manager partners, including PIMCO, SG Hiscock and LaSalle.”
