Global investment manager, Standard Life Investments yesterday announced the appointment of Toshio Tangiku as Asia-Pacific Real Estate Equities Analyst.
Based in Hong Kong Toshio, who joins from LaSalle Investment Management, will report to Svitlana Gubriy, Fund Manager, Real Estate Listed Funds.
Commenting on the appointment David Paine, Head of Real Estate, Standard Life Investments said: “Toshio brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience of the Japanese real estate sector and represents an important addition to Standard Life Investments’ global real estate franchise. He joins a team that manages 11 Global REIT strategies including the Global REIT Focus Fund SICAV that was granted a Lipper 2014 Award for ‘Best Fund over 5 years’. Toshio’s key responsibilities include working with fund managers to analyse and identify investment opportunities in the Asia-Pacific real estate securities market.”
