The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and the Asia Insurance Review are pleased to announce that submissions for the 12th Australian Insurance Industry Awards are now open.
The Awards provides the opportunity to celebrate and recognise individual and company excellence at the Australian Insurance Industry Awards in Sydney on 19 August 2014.
“The Australian Insurance Industry Awards are an opportunity to bear witness to the great achievers in our industry and to celebrate being part of a vibrant professional community. Each year we see more and more enthusiasm and support for the Awards, demonstrating that this is an industry that strives for excellence,” said Prue Willsford, CEO of ANZIIF.
In 2015, three new categories – Direct General Insurance Company of the Year, Professional Services Firm of the Year and Young Insurance Professional of the Year – have been launched. The criteria for all 16 of the Award categories have also been refreshed.
The Awards categories are:
- Small Broker of the Year
- Medium Broker of the Year
- Large Broker of the Year
- Underwriting Agency of the Year
- Small – Medium General Insurance Company of the Year
- Large General Insurance Company of the Year
- Innovation of the Year
- Professional Services Firm of the Year
- Service Provider to the Insurance Industry of the Year
- Women’s Employer of the Year
- Youth Development Employer of the Year
- Young Insurance Professional of the Year
- Insurance Leader of the Year
- ANZIIF Lifetime Achievement Award
Submissions close on 10 April 2015 and can be lodged via the Institute’s website at www.theinstitute.com.au
