Submissions open for 2016 Australian Insurance Industry Awards

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and co-host Asia Insurance Review are pleased to announce that submissions for the 2016 Australian Insurance Industry Awards are now open.

The Awards, now in its 13th year, is one of the highlights of the annual insurance calendar and an event that encourages reflection on individual, business and industry success.

‘The Awards has come to be a landmark in the annals of the industry. And this year, in this era of disruptive innovation, we look forward to entries that are pushing the corners of the envelope to emerge as smart insurers that create a buzz in the market and bring insurance to every person and company in the street. Every action counts,’ said Sivam Subramaniam, Editor in Chief of Asia Insurance Review, which co-hosts the Awards.

Following a year of change across the industry in 2015, the Awards provides the opportunity to celebrate and recognise individual and company excellence. In recognition of the changes within the industry and the market in which it operates, the Awards criteria have been updated and first-time entrants are encouraged to submit.

“The Awards is an event for the entire industry and one that gives businesses an opportunity to promote their achievements and those of their staff. For this reason, we are inviting previous winners, finalists and submitting companies as well as businesses that have never participated to submit for the categories relevant to them,” said Prue Willsford, CEO of ANZIIF.

The Awards categories are:

Submissions close on 26 April 2016 and can be lodged via the ANZIIF website at www.anziif.com.
