Elders is pleased to announce the appointment of John McCormack as state practice manager for Elders Financial Planning across Victoria, Tasmania and the Riverina region.
Mr. McCormack’s appointment comes on the back of introducing Tony Beaven as new head of the department at the beginning of this year.
Elders Head of Financial Planning, Tony Beaven, said John’s addition is indicative of significant change occurring in Elders’ Financial Planning business.
“John’s appointment to state practice manager is a strategic decision that will contribute to the transformational changes happening across EFP,” Mr. Beaven said.
“With extensive knowledge of the industry, John has a proven history of building business around client oriented financial services.”
Mr. McCormack comes from an extensive background in business coaching, strategic consulting and management of advice teams, as well as having successfully founded his own financial advice business.
Excited about the opportunity with Elders, Mr. McCormack is keen to ensure clients know the depth of services and expertise that Elders offer, including financial planning.
“The Elders brand and history is iconic, and combining this with the innovative changes taking place across our business make it a really exciting time to be coming on board,” says Mr. McCormack.
“Apart from the banks there are very few businesses with such a large client base and cross-service opportunity.”
“My challenge will involve making sure that word is spread by our current advisor networks about the extensive referral opportunities available that truly add value to our clients.”
Johns significant experience in wealth management and financial planning now gives EFP one of the most skilled adviser face to face support networks in the industry and marks a growth period for the Elders Financial Planning business.
