Prue Willsford

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is delighted to announce the return of the Australian Insurance Industry Awards for 2021. The awards will be held at The Star Event Centre in Sydney on 26 October.

“2021 marks the 17th year of the awards, which are an annual celebration acknowledging the accomplishments of individuals, businesses and recognising talent across the Australian insurance industry,” says Prue Willsford, ANZIIF CEO.

“We are overjoyed to see the return of the industry’s night of nights, following a year without physical events. The Australian insurance awards hold great significance for industry as they provide a platform for us to come together and celebrate the achievements and positive impact we have on our people and community.”

“Submissions are now open! The judging panel will be looking for organisations and individuals who can showcase how they have supported the customer, community, and their people over the last year.”

“I look forward to seeing this year’s entries, and I encourage you to apply and participate in this wonderful celebration of our industry.”

ANZIIF will be accepting submissions into 17 categories. This year, changes have been made to the general insurance categories, which see the inclusion of categories for Small, Medium and Large General Insurance Companies with criteria focused on customer outcomes. In addition, revisions have been made for the broking and authorised representative (AR) categories. AR companies are now eligible to enter the broking categories.
