Funds manager and iPartners CEO Travis Miller is set to release a new book exploring the untapped potential of alternative assets.
Released nationally on 31 May, Grow Your Wealth Faster with Alternative Assets addresses the education gap often blocking the adoption of alternative investments as a valuable portfolio addition.
Miller says that the inspiration for the book came down to education being the key obstacle preventing alternatives from becoming a mainstream asset class, saying the book fills the gap by “providing valuable insights and knowledge to a broad range of investors who have traditionally focused on established investment options.”
With over 20 year’s experience in banking involving non-traditional business classes (including at UBS, Deutsche Bank, and ANZ Bank), Miller co-founded iPartners, now a leading Australian alternative asset marketplace with approximately $5B in funds under management.
The timing of the book also comes at a time when traditional investment strategies are being questioned and investors are actively seeking attractive risk-reward opportunities. Miller adds, “It’s 2023 and well-established investment approaches, such as the traditional 60/40 asset allocation, are being reconsidered. Investors are seeking diversification and compelling options but just lack the information piece around what to do next.”
Travis says that the book’s primary objective is to provide assistance to investors seeking to diversify their portfolios but are apprehensive about the perceived risks involved. “The book aims to remove these fears and guide investors in a clear and concise manner, helping them navigate the world of alternative investments confidently.” He says.
Grow Your Wealth Faster with Alternative Assets is published by global book publisher John Wiley & Sons and will be distributed to bookstores nationally, with Wiley’s reach and reputation a key deciding factor in signing the publishing deal.” Working with Wiley has been an exceptional experience,” Miller says. “Their dedicated team and global reach align perfectly with the book’s vision of making alternative assets more accessible to investors worldwide.”
Grow Your Wealth Faster with Alternative Assets is available 31 May.
