The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Lloyd’s Australia are proud to present the winner of the inaugural Lloyd’s Innovators Scholarship.
The Scholarship recognises future leaders and innovators and provides an excellent educational opportunity designed to uplift and advance the careers of insurance professionals.
Congratulations to this year’s winner, Angela Mosedale, of Agile Underwriting Services.
“Lloyd’s is committed to fostering talent within the insurance industry and the Innovators Scholarship is an initiative that demonstrates this,” says Peter Plustwik, the General Manager of Lloyd’s Australia.
“The Scholarship speaks to the innovative values of the Lloyd’s market, and it is great to see talented people like Angela continuing to drive forward this tradition”.
The Scholarship will take Angela from Tier 1 qualification to a Diploma, and includes enrolment in the ANZIIF course, Lloyd’s Demystified, which is valued at up to $5,000.
Additionally, Angela will have the opportunity to experience a ‘day-in-the-life’ of the Lloyd’s Australia Sydney office.
“Angela has demonstrated outstanding commitment to her career in insurance. The knowledge she will gain from this opportunity is something that will carry her forward, and help her uplift fellow insurance professionals”, says ANZIIF CEO, Katrina Shanks.
Angela is looking forward to developing her industry knowledge through the scholarship:

I can’t wait to begin training with ANZIIF towards my Diploma, and further developing my skills and knowledge in the insurance industry. Applications for the 2025 Lloyd’s Innovators Scholarship will open in January 2025.
