<p>Tan’s ambassadorship aligns with ANZIIF’s ongoing commitment to advancing professionalism in the insurance industry across the Asia Pacific region.</p>
<p>As an ambassador, Tan will act as official representative of ANZIIF, working with insurance professionals and organisations throughout Malaysia.</p>
<p>With over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tan brings a wealth of knowledge in management, business development, and operations including underwriting, risk surveying, claims, and policy processing. He holds multiple qualifications, including a Diploma of General Insurance from ANZIIF and an ANZIIF Fellowship.</p>
<p>As an ANZIIF ambassador, Tan is dedicated to driving professional development and education for insurance practitioners in Malaysia, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.</p>
<p>Tan aims to “bridge local industry practices with international standards, enhancing the capabilities of Malaysian professionals in the global insurance landscape.”</p>
<p>He views his ambassadorship as “a unique opportunity to give back to the industry”, advocate for higher standards and support the next generation of insurance professionals through education and mentorship.</p>
<p>“I am excited to be working closer with Kian Beng and strengthening our relationship with Malaysia. ANZIIF has a long history with the Malaysian insurance sector and appointing a Malaysian Ambassador reflects our commitment and passion to the region,” says ANZIIF CEO, Katrina Shanks.</p>
