Palisade Investment Partners management transition

Palisade has established a partnership group to support its continued growth as a leading global infrastructure and real assets manager.

The partnership group comprises Palisade’s long-tenured and highly experienced senior leadership team. This group will lead the business to capture the significant opportunities for investors that are emerging across unlisted infrastructure, driven by the energy transition, digital connectivity and critical public services.

Roger Lloyd, who co-founded Palisade in 2008, said the transition reflected the depth of talent across the business, and marked a natural next step.

“By empowering a wider group of senior leaders with clear accountability and shared ownership, we are building on the culture that has underpinned our strong track record for nearly two decades,” he said.

Palisade has grown steadily, guided by a consistent investment philosophy, close alignment with its investors and a disciplined focus on the mid-market.

The new structure reflects Palisade’s collaborative investor-first culture. Each Partner has primary responsibility for a defined area of the business, and collectively the group is accountable for strategy, culture and continuing to create long-term value for investors.

The partnership group is:

Ben Malone will continue to lead Palisade’s legal function as Group General Counsel, and Will Clarke will remain responsible for operations and ESG as Head of Operations.

After successfully leading Palisade as CEO for 12 years, Roger Lloyd will move into the role of Executive Chairman where he will continue to provide strategic oversight.

Palisade’s purpose, values and investment approach remain unchanged. The firm focuses on disciplined, high-conviction investing in mid-market infrastructure and real assets, with an emphasis on active ownership and responsible stewardship.
Karen Gould, Managing Partner, said, “Our experienced team is seeing a once-in-a-generation opportunity set emerging across Australian and US mid-market infrastructure, and we’re excited about what we can deliver for investors.”
