Evidentia Group announces new organisational structure to accelerate growth and enhance client outcomes

Evidentia Group has announced a refined organisational structure designed to enhance client outcomes and position the business for its next phase of growth.

The changes mark an important milestone in the company’s integration journey, reflecting a continued commitment to operating as one unified business with a clear focus on delivering value for clients, partners and stakeholders.

As part of the new structure, Evidentia Group has established a streamlined Executive Leadership Team comprising:

Supporting the executive team is a strengthened Senior Leadership Group, with Naomi Christopher leading Marketing & Communications, Chris Carrodus leading Asset Consulting, Chris Smith leading Implemented Portfolios, Hugh Holden leading Sales and Distribution and Mark Zaglas leading Encore Advisory.

Stepping into the two newly created roles are Jo Cornwell and Brendan Johnson, each with an extensive pedigree and experience in wealth management.

Jo Cornwell brings more than two decades of investment consulting experience, including senior roles at Aware Super, StatePlus and Mercer, which positions her well to lead our strategic commercial partnerships and strengthen the operating model that supports our advisers and clients.

Brendan Johnson brings a strong track record in financial services leadership, having led national advice licensee businesses, wealth management distribution teams and most recently was a principal consultant with Encore Advisory, a specialist business consulting and advisory business owned by Evidentia Group.

Chief Executive Officer of Evidentia Group – Louise Watson, said the change represented a natural progression in the company’s evolution following the merger.

“Over the past 18 months we have made significant progress bringing our businesses, teams and capabilities together, while attracting leading talent from the market. As we look ahead, this new structure positions us to operate with greater focus and agility, to help more clients in more ways.”

The newly created Chief Client Officer and Chief Commercial & Operating Officer roles reflect the organisation’s commitment to deepening client relationships, driving strategic growth initiatives and delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and our partners.

Evidentia Group remains focused on helping advice businesses, while continuing to invest in its people, capabilities and client experience.

“This is about building on the strong foundations established through the larger Evidentia Group and creating an organisation that is well positioned for sustainable growth,” Watson said. “We are excited about the opportunities ahead and confident that this structure will support our vision for the future, and ultimately continue to help our clients build better portfolios and better businesses.”
