<h3 class="x_MsoNormal"><b></b>First Sentier Group (the Group), a global asset management organisation, today announced the appointment of Belinda Webber as Chief People Officer (CPO), effective 31 August. Based in Sydney, she will join the Executive Committee and report to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Harry Moore.</h3>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Harry Moore, CEO of First Sentier Group said: “Belinda is a highly experienced and respected leader with deep expertise in building high-performing businesses. Her track record in aligning people strategy to business outcomes will be critical as we continue to invest in our people and deliver on our long-term growth ambitions.”</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Ms Webber will play a key role in shaping the Group’s people strategy, supporting the development of a more connected, high-performing and client-focused organisation. She will work closely with senior leaders across the business to attract, develop and retain talent globally.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Ms Webber joins from Rabobank, where she served as Group Executive, Chief Human Resources Officer, with responsibility for Human Resources and Corporate Affairs across Australia and New Zealand. She brings more than 25 years of experience and a strong track record in leading complex projects, transformation initiatives and culture improvements, while championing employee engagement. Prior to Rabobank, Ms Webber held senior leadership roles at Commonwealth Bank, PepsiCo, Microsoft and ANZ Bank.</p>

<p>Takafumi Ihara, Director, Deputy President and Executive Officer Chief Executive, Asset Management &amp; Investor Services Business Unit at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation said: “We are very pleased to make this an internal appointment. Harry brings significant experience from his various senior leadership and executive roles within the Group. His extensive understanding of our business and its operations, coupled with his strong relationships with our shareholder, our clients and our investment teams, along with his in-depth knowledge of asset management and markets, make him an excellent fit for this role.”</p>
<p>“While Mark will remain CEO of First Sentier Group until the end of the year, I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Board, to extend our thanks to him for his strong leadership and dedication to the business over the past seven years.”</p>
<p>Harry Moore, incoming CEO, commented: “I am excited about the role and opportunity, and to continue working with our Executive Committee and Board. We are fortunate to have a high number of high-quality investment teams, deep expertise across our functions and a supportive shareholder, positioning the Group well over the medium-term notwithstanding industry challenges.</p>

He will also oversee responsible investment, product management, investments business management, and our First Sentier Investors’ branded investment teams based in Australia and Asia. Moore who is based in London, will return to Sydney during Q1 2025.</p>
<p>Prendiville is based in Singapore and brings over 25 years of asset management experience, with a strong focus on client service. During her decade at First Sentier Investors, she has been instrumental in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Before joining First Sentier, Prendiville served as Executive Director of Institutional Business Development at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she worked in both London and Singapore. Her extensive background also includes roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Investec Asset Management, where she successfully managed relationships with a diverse range of clients, including pension funds, central banks, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and private clients.</p>
<p>Both Moore and Prendiville will continue to report to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mark Steinberg, and will be integral members of the First Sentier Investors Executive Committee.</p>
