First Sentier Group (the Group), the global asset management organisation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Harry Moore as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First Sentier Group, effective 1 January 2026.
Moore’s appointment follows the current CEO, Mark Steinberg’s intention to step down at the end of the year after seven years with the Group. Following a comprehensive search and selection process, Moore was appointed by the Board.

Harry brings significant experience from his various senior leadership and executive roles within the Group. His extensive understanding of our business and its operations, coupled with his strong relationships with our shareholder, our clients and our investment teams, along with his in-depth knowledge of asset management and markets, make him an excellent fit for this role.”

Prior to this appointment, Moore was Chief Commercial Officer, having been appointed in January 2025. He played a vital role in collaborating with the Group’s investment teams to advance their growth plans. He also oversaw responsible investment, product management, investments business management, and the First Sentier Investors’ investment teams in Australia and Asia. Before this, Moore was Global Head of Distribution, Marketing and Communications, based in London, providing oversight of sales, managing client relationships and overseeing marketing and communications activities globally. He began his career at First Sentier Group in 2010 and was appointed Managing Director of Australia, New Zealand, and Japan in 2019.
