<p>Oliver joins the Distribution team at Alexander Funds, led by Chris Inifer, Head of Distribution &amp; Marketing. He will support the distribution team nationally and report into James Curnow, Regional Manager for NSW, ACT and QLD, who is also based in Sydney.</p>
<p>“Alexander Funds continues to experience strong growth through retail and wholesale adviser channels. Oliver’s appointment as Business Development Associate in our Sydney office will strengthen our ability to support and engage with our expanding client base,” said James.</p>
<p>Prior to joining Alexander Funds, Oliver worked at Royal Bank of Canada in Institutional Equity Sales. He previously held roles at PAC Partners in Institutional Equity Sales and at Bell Potter Securities, where he worked as an Associate in their Wholesale Financial Advisory and Broking team.</p>
<p>Oliver holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney.</p>

James will work closely with Head of Distribution, Chris Inifer, to focus on clients in NSW, ACT and QLD. “Alexander Funds has seen growth in opportunities with advisers in NSW and QLD, and James’ addition to the business will allow us to expand our coverage of that market” says Chris Inifer.</p>
<p>James has worked with a variety of businesses in the Australian wealth market implementing traditional managed funds, separately managed accounts, and exchange traded products. His experience affords him unique insights in the provision of multi-asset portfolios for both wholesale and retail advisory practices. He will be a powerful addition to the Alexander Funds distribution team.</p>
<p>Prior to joining Alexander Funds, James’ most recent role was as Business Development Manager for Zenith Investment Partners assisting with growth into the NSW market. James also spent 4 years at BlackRock Investment Management as well as holding roles in BT Financial Groups former Advice division.</p>
<p>James holds a Bachelor of Business with majors in Finance and Marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney. He has also completed his Diploma of Financial Planning from the Monarch Institute and RG146 through Kaplan Australia.</p>

<p>“In the past year, Zenith has seen a notable increase in an adviser’s investable universe, and a dramatic increase in the use of managed account structures to access these options.</p>
<p>“James’ appointment reflects our strong commitment to expanding our services to a growing client base in NSW and the ACT.”</p>
<p>In announcing the appointment, Mr Nicoll cited Mr Curnow’s strong understanding of advisers’ portfolio construction and managed account requirements, and the tools they are using to deliver optimal investment outcomes for clients.</p>
<p>Mr Curnow was most recently a business development manager for BlackRock where he was responsible for the growth of its managed account services to the NSW advice market</p>
<p>He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, a Diploma of Financial Planning from the Monarch Institute and is also RG146-qualified through Kaplan Australia.</p>
