Zenith Investment Partners has appointed James Curnow to the position of business development manager, responsible for growing the investment consultancy’s managed accounts footprint in NSW and the ACT.
Based in Sydney, Mr Curnow will report to head of sales, John Nicoll, who said the appointment reflects strong demand from existing and prospective adviser clients in these areas.
“In the past year, Zenith has seen a notable increase in an adviser’s investable universe, and a dramatic increase in the use of managed account structures to access these options.
“James’ appointment reflects our strong commitment to expanding our services to a growing client base in NSW and the ACT.”
In announcing the appointment, Mr Nicoll cited Mr Curnow’s strong understanding of advisers’ portfolio construction and managed account requirements, and the tools they are using to deliver optimal investment outcomes for clients.
Mr Curnow was most recently a business development manager for BlackRock where he was responsible for the growth of its managed account services to the NSW advice market
He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, a Diploma of Financial Planning from the Monarch Institute and is also RG146-qualified through Kaplan Australia.
