Scholarship applicants will be required to write a 2,500 word essay on this year’s topic – The Increasing Complexities of Reinsurance Requirements.

The winner of the scholarship will attend either the 2023 Aon Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London or the 2023 Aon Hazards Conference in Australia, subject to travel availability. Both the Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar and Aon Hazards Conference are highly regarded around the world as an outstanding educational opportunity for insurance and reinsurance professionals.

Adi is a Risk Engineer at Swiss Re and submitted the winning entry on this year’s topic: Climate Change: Industry Impacts, Challenges and Opportunities’.

As the winner of the scholarship, Adi will attend either the 2022 Aon Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London or the 2022 Aon Hazards Conference in Australia, subject to travel availability.

Jenna Cooke, an actuary at Suncorp Commercial Insurance, was awarded the prize for her essay on the topic, “Will the Google car end automobile insurance as we know it?”

As part of her prize, Ms Cooke will attend the 49th annual Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London in June, where she will gain an understanding of the principles and practices of arranging reinsurance on a global scale.
