AMP Capital Investors has appointed several equity investment professionals, bringing its Australian Capital Equity team to eight investment professionals focused on the Australian equities market.
Joining the team are Jonas Palmqvist as Senior Portfolio Manager/Analyst, Andrew Lally as Senior Portfolio Manager/Analyst and Thomas Young as Assistant Portfolio Manager.
With the injection of new talent, the Australian Capital Equity team has established a solid foundation to underpin its fundamental investment capability based on proprietary in-house research.
AMP Capital Senior Portfolio Manager Greg Barnes said he was looking forward to the new team working together to build portfolios that best meet client’s objectives across wide ranging market conditions.
“The long-standing basis of the Australian Capital Equity team investment process and performance track record is proprietary research focused on identifying companies we believe can generate sustainably high returns on capital for investors,” he said.
