Integrity Life appoints Head of Retail Product

Integrity Life (Integrity) has announced the appointment of William Rogers as Head of Retail Product. Mr Rogers joins Integrity from CommInsure, where he was a senior product development and research manager.

Managing Director Chris Powell said: “I’m delighted to welcome Will to the team here at Integrity. With his extensive experience in life insurance, Will brings a great deal of knowledge and best practice to the role. But it’s not just knowledge and experience that Will brings – he is also committed to innovating the way we develop products in the life insurance sector; responding to adviser and consumer demand for products and services that are adaptive to their needs and not bound by legacy systems and processes.”

Mr Rogers joins Integrity after a 20-year career in the financial services sector; 18 years of which were in product development. At CommInsure, Mr Rogers was responsible for life insurance. Prior to this, Mr Rogers worked on product at AMP, REST Industry Super and BT Financial Group, across life insurance, advice and superannuation.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Rogers said: “In joining Integrity, I’ve been given the rare opportunity to build a new product from the ground up. I’m tremendously excited to be part of the team on this journey which aligns with my own ideals for the life insurance industry.”

Mr Rogers said he will leverage his extensive expertise in product development and strategy to ensure Integrity’s offering is constantly reassessed and refreshed, to continually meet adviser and client needs.

“What attracted me to Integrity was the challenge to build a product that approaches insurance differently. Most products have been developed over the past 20 years, and are very difficult to change, even though consumer needs and technology have shifted seismically. At Integrity, it’s a hands-on environment, where we are able to co-create a new type of life insurance, with input from advisers, ensuring they are part of the product. I’m thrilled to join at this time of intense development.”

The announcement is the latest in the series of senior appointments, as Integrity continues to invest in and grow its talent bench. Last month, Integrity announced two senior hires and a board appointment. Mark McCrea was appointed as Head of Operations and Jacqueline Little as Head of Group Product, and former Munich Re Group Managing Director for Australasia Heinrich Elder was appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Mr Powell said: “It’s fair to say that we benefit from some extraordinary industry talent, all of whom share the vision to provide life insurance as it’s meant to be. Our teams are made up of sector specialists, so that across group and retail life, there are experts focused on delivering innovative solutions to the needs of that cohort.”

Integrity already offers group insurance and is currently conducting a pilot of its retail products with a group of specialist insurance advisers.
